Spanning six decades Jacques Charoux's practice has encompassed some of the most important contemporary art movements and styles to emerge in that dynamic period including: Hard-edge Abstraction, Modernism, Post-Modernism, Post Colonialism, the re-emergence of figuration and conceptual art.

A multi-media artist, Charoux uses paintings, printmaking, sculpture and photography.  For him the idea is everything, he then chooses the media that best expresses his concerns.
