Mann-Tatlow Gallery

The Mann-Tatlow Collection of Asian Art was gifted to Wollongong Art Gallery by William S. Tatlow and Gora Singh Mann in 2003. Developed over 25 years, the collection includes 227 Asian ceramics, objects and items of furniture from the Neolithic Period to the early twentieth century. This exhibition celebrates the depth of the collection ranging from funerary objects, Japanese Satsuma and Imari wares, items of furniture, objects of imperial taste, items from a scholar’s desk, and objects made for the export trade to the West and South East Asia.
