In this dynamic performance installation diverse groups
of Wollongong women come together to share their
stories, memories and aspirations, and creatively explore what it means to live in an industrial region undergoing radical change.
Drawing on the imagery of gardens as their inspiration,
over eighty women, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, collaborate with a multi-arts team of community cultural development artists to present a dramatic re-imagining of Wollongong’s industrial identity.
