An art prize and exhibition featuring small format contemporary art works open to artists living within the postcode boundaries of 2508 in the north, 2534 in the south and 2576 in the west. Subject matter must reflect the Illawarra region (people, local sites, landscape etc.). Strict format 2 dimensional works must be 30.5 x 40.6cm (12" x 16" including frame). 

Postcodes will return again in 2024.

A new initiative of WAG Friends that encourages individuals and businesses to support the important work of conserving WAG's art Collection.  This program works on a star support system (1 star $1000 1 artwork, 2 stars $2000 2 artworks, 3 stars $3000 3 artworks).  Each level of support comes with incentives.   Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbury AM is the patron of Art Care.   All donations are tax deductible.

BUS TRIP - RED POINT ARTS Port Kembla & SCULPTURE IN THE GARDEN Botanic Gardens

Thursday 20 April 2023
Cost: Member $25/Non Member $35 (+ booking fee)
Red Point Arts:  A thriving, vibrant arts hub in the centre of Port Kembla!  It is a member-run arts co-op, where all types of artists, artisans and students come together to socialise, share ideas and show their arts and crafts.
Lunch: Little Thai Restaurant within co-op or bring your own lunch.
Wollongong Botanic Gardens:  Wander through these beautiful gardens and view Sculpture in the Garden - 25 thought-provoking sculptures from local, national and international artists are currently on display in the natural surrounds of the gardens. 

Bus departs Wollongong Art Gallery (Arts Precinct) at 10.30am. Return 3.30pm Bookings essential. Numbers limited.
