Due to the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) information and advice, there will be no exhibition openings and only 10 visitors are allowed in this Gallery space at any one time.

The Community Access Gallery program aims to provide a high profile exhibition space that supports the work of local artists and Illawarra community groups. This exhibition space is available for monthly hire at a cost of $600.  This cost includes:

  • Three week exhibition period
  • Open to public 10am-5pm Tuesday-Friday, Weekends 12-4pm - lift & stair access available
  • Use of cables and installation equipment
  • Use of an adjoining room for opening/launch
  • Use of three Gallery staff for opening / launch (maximum time 3hrs)
  • Use of PA equipment, tables, table cloths and glassware for opening/launch

The Community Access Gallery is a hired space and does not form part of the Art Gallery's exhibition program.​

An exhibition celebrating the diverse talents and 'different brillian' of people on the Austism Spectrum.

Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong Christmas Story Art Exhibiton and Competition 
7 October - 1 November
An exhibition and competition for students in year 5 and 6 across the Wollongong diocese to celebrate and explore their creative and artistic ability in illustrating the Christmas story.

Annie Appleton: Wild - 6 - 29 November
An exploration of iwld animals' relationships and behaviours through realistic charcoal drawings.

Da Vinci Art Studio Annual Art Exhibition - 5 December - 3 January 2021
An exhibition celebrating art tutor's and student's artistice development and commitment over the year in the art studio.
