The BlueScope Gallery
The BlueScope Gallery is located on the second floor of the Gallery.
This impressive space was formerly the Council Chambers, when the building was used as Council's administration centre from the mid 1950s to the late 1980s. The original meeting table and chairs remain in the room today.
The grand architecture of this space includes a stepped ceiling to provide great acoustics, polished parquetry floors, and three elegant, award-winning modernist chandeliers.
It is also overlooked by the Friends Gallery balcony.
As well as regularly displaying works from the Wollongong Art Gallery Collection and visiting exhibitions, the BlueScope Gallery is a popular location for weddings, music performances and other events. Please see our venue hire pages to learn more or book this space.
