Donations and Bequests

Our community plays an important role in the funding and operation of Wollongong Art Gallery. This includes generous acts of personal donations and bequests.

There are different ways you can support the Gallery's activities and collections.

You can contribute by:

Donating cash, property, or other assets
Making a bequest or legacy in a will
Gifting art through the Cultural Gifts Program
Joining the Wollongong Art Gallery Friends
Getting involved with Art Connect or Art+Care programs
Becoming a volunteer

Under the Cultural Gifts Program, the Australian Taxation Office provides tax incentives to encourage gifts of culturally significant items from private collections to public institutions. This program has greatly enhanced the Gallery's art collection.
